Hola mi gente! How are you ? I’m Nohelia your local DMV photographer, originally rooted in the Sunshine State Miami, Florida. Im half Nicaraguense and half Puerto Rican. Growing up both my parents would keep stacks of albums and video recordings of me and now I’m happy and grateful to be able to go back in time and relive those cherished moments. I remember taking photos for EVERYTHING !

2015 I decided to move to San Antonio, Texas and lived there for over 3 years —I met incredibly talented people and experienced a festive and uplifting vibe living there. I was asked to be a model for a photoshoot but with my recent camera gift i was more interested in being behind the camera and learning how to use it rather than being a model. Thanks to a mentor the thrill of manually operating my camera and capturing moments, especially shooting in downtown with models, became my favorite part of my chapter in Texas.

Eventually I moved back to the East Coast to be closer to family and grow further in my career as a freelance photographer. Now as a DC- Maryland based photographer I’m on a mission to not just document moments but to connect with new clients and sharing their stories through the art of photography.
